Launches Greek Club to target leisure gamers and high roller
March 13, 2006, Hong Kong - Greek Mythology (Macau) Entertainment Group Corporation Limited ("Greek Mythology") announces that a "Greek Club" was launched at Greek Mythology Casino in Macau to target market segments from leisure gamers to high rollers.
The Greek Club provides VIP-style entertainment-cum-gaming services, as well as 24-hour gourmet buffet and fine French and Portuguese wines on the house. Customers who purchase Greek Club chips in the amount of HK$30,000 or above will be eligible to join the club, and are entitled to enjoy one room-night at the New Century Hotel.
Greek Club members will be assigned individual accounts, accessible for cash deposits and withdrawals in Hong Kong and Macau, for the convenience of customers. All hotel and casino incidentals will be charged to the members' personal accounts.
The Greek Club is fitted with 10 Baccarat tables with a range of minimum bets for the choice of the members.
Greek Mythology is currently 49.9% held by Hong Kong listed A-Max Holdings Limited (HKEx: 959). Greek Mythology Casino commenced business on December 23, 2004 and has witnessed significant growth in traffic to over 30,000 visitors daily by the end of the second quarter of 2005. According to its audited accounts for the period from the date of its incorporation to November 30, 2005, the turnover, the EBITDA and the net profit attributable to shareholders were approximately HK$624.7 million, HK$389.1 million and HK$317.7 million, respectively.
