Hong Kong, Jun 17, 2010 - Oil and gas company Genesis Energy Holdings Limited (to be renamed ‘Sino Oil and Gas Holdings Limited’, HKEx: 702) is pleased to announce that Mr. Chen Hua has become a major shareholder holding an approximately 6.6% interest in the Company, subsequent to his purchase of 390,000,000 shares in the Company on June 11, 2010.

Mr. Chen is the founder, President and General Manager of Kingkey Group, a property development company based in Shenzhen. Kingkey Group is ranked among Shenzhen’s 20 largest property development enterprises and was the recipient of the ‘Annual Corporate Social Responsibility Award for the Real Estate Industry’. Mr. Chen is a member of the national committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (“CPPCC”) and a member of Guangdong Provincial Standing Committee of the CPPCC. He has been named as one of the ‘Ten Young Entrepreneurs’ and awarded honorary citizen of Zhanjian.

This latest investment follows two similar investments in May 2010 by Mr. Dai Xiaobing and Mr. Chang Yim Yang.
