Hong Kong, May 9, 2010 - Oil and gas company Genesis Energy Holdings Limited (HKEx: 702) announces that Mr. Chang Yim Yang has become a new shareholder holding a 5.92% equity stake in the Company.

Mr. Chang Yim Yang is currently an executive director of China Precious Metal Resources Holdings Co., Ltd. (HKEx: 1194). He holds a post-graduate diploma in International Finance at the University of Shenzhen, the PRC. Mr. Chang is experienced in mergers and acquisitions as well as capital market operations. In particular, he is well versed in investment operations in Mainland China.

Genesis Energy invests in and operates a number of oil and gas assets in China and the US, and continuously seeks suitable investment opportunities to expand its business portfolio and revenues base.
