MegaBox Adds Another Big-Box Tenant
Jumpin Gym U.S.A. Invests HK$100 Million
To Build Hong Kong's Largest All-Season Theme Park
Jumpin Gym U.S.A., Hong Kong's leading operator of indoor family entertainment, plans to invest HK$100 million to build the largest all-season theme park in Hong Kong. The lease signing ceremony was hosted by Mr Tom Tong, Executive Director & General Manager, MegaBox Development Co Limited, and Mr Francis Chan, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Jumpin Gym U.S.A. Limited.
The SAR's largest-ever all-season theme park will occupy a total indoor space of 70,000 sq ft and an outdoor area of 35,000 sq ft, and will be designed by Jumpin Gym U.S.A. under an innovative theme featuring "edu-tainment" and "interactive entertainment" elements targeting teenagers and families. The new theme park is scheduled to open in mid-2007 at MegaBox in Kowloon Bay.

The new theme park to be designed by Jumpin Gym USA is a major component in our overall entertainment offering, and adds a further touch of fun to the MegaBox experience."
Mr Francis Chan of Jumpin Gym U.S.A. added: "The idea of our new theme park is to create a venue for teenagers and families to experience an adventure, the process of which is both entertaining and educational. Other than the games that we have in our traditional Jumpin Gym stores, we shall be adding the elements of science, education, reasoning, treasure hunting, etc into our new theme park in order to enable our guests to learn while they are enjoying the fun. Furthermore, the special themes in the new theme park contributing to a joyous atmosphere, coupling with a vast diversity of games at reasonable prices, would undoubtedly attract both local citizens and foreign visitors."
In addition to being the largest in the territory, the new theme park in MegaBox is the only one under Jumpin Gym U.S.A.'s portfolio that has an outdoor section. While the indoor area ensures all-season operation of the theme park, the outdoor venue will allow visitors to enjoy a full harbour view while using the facilities.

Hong Kong, August 22, 2006 - MegaBox Development Co. Limited and Jumpin Gym U.S.A. Limited today signed an agreement for the lease of more than 100,000 sq ft of space of the 1.1 million sq-ft MegaBox, the largest shopping, entertainment and dining destination in East Kowloon.
MegaBox is Hong Kong's first 'TCM' Vertical Mega-Mall, a new retail and entertainment hot-spot destined to be a Hong Kong landmark. Ranging over 19 storeys across 1.1 million square feet of totally-connected retail space, MegaBox is scheduled for opening in mid-2007. This retail project is wholly owned and developed by Kerry Properties Limited (HKEx: 683).
Jumpin Gym U.S.A. provides and creates customer-oriented entertainment services by integrating family entertainment, fun retailing, catering and Internet applications. It launched its first family entertainment centre (FEC) in June 1994 and since then has become the largest and the most dominant operator of indoor family entertainment in Hong Kong. Jumpin Gym U.S.A. currently has 56 FECs in nearly every corner of the territory. In a bid to expand its entertainment centres beyond Hong Kong, the company opened an FEC in Zhongshan, China in 2005.
