MegaBox and UA Cinema Circuit

Adding A New Attraction to the Upcoming East Kowloon Entertainment Hub
UA MegaBox will comprise eight theatres with over 1,000 high-back reclining seats. Home to state-of-the-art Dolby Digital EX sound systems, as well as comfortable high-back seating with generous leg room and convenient flip-up drink holder arm-rests, the theatres ensure thrilling entertainment and ultimate viewing enjoyment for the audiences.
Mr. Tom Tong, Executive Director and General Manager, MegaBox Development Co Limited, said at the ceremony: "We warmly welcome the joining of UA Cinema Circuit, another major component in our unique tenant portfolio. MegaBox was developed with the objective of innovating and enriching the conventional shopping experience. UA MegaBox will be fitted with world-class projection equipment to take movie entertainment to the next level. The provision of mega-entertainment is further facilitated by MegaBox's pioneering vertical mega-mall design and direct driveways accessing all floors."

Enterprise Square 5 will deliver a total gross floor area of 1.6 million square feet, with MegaBox ranging over 19 storeys across 1.1 million square feet of retail space. The construction cost of the project will amount to HK$2 billion. The retail development is slated for completion by the first quarter of 2007.

Hong Kong, March 6, 2006 - MegaBox Development Co Limited today announces the signing of a lease agreement with UA Cinema Circuit Limited, one of the largest cinema chain operators in Hong Kong. UA Cinema Circuit will open an 8-theatre UA MegaBox that will be equipped with the latest digital sound and projection equipment available to provide exciting mega-entertainment for cinemagoers. The signing ceremony was hosted by Mr. Tom Tong, Executive Director and General Manager, MegaBox Development Co Limited, Mr. Bob Vallone, Director & General Manager, Lark International Multimedia Limited, and Mr. C L Chan, General Manager, UA Cinema Circuit Limited. Scheduled to open in 2007, MegaBox is destined to become the largest lifestyle destination in East Kowloon.
