Mr Timpson Chung Shui Ming, GBS, JP has been an active member of a number of public boards and bodies. He was a member of the Hong Kong SAR's first Executive Council, Chairman of the former Hong Kong Housing Society and Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR Government Land Fund Trust. He is currently serving as a member of the National Committee of the 10th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and is the Chairman of the Council of City University of Hong Kong, as well as a member of Hong Kong Housing Authority and Chairman of its Finance Sub-Committee.
Mr Chung holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Hong Kong and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Mr Chung was previously a Director of Jardine Fleming (Holdings) Limited and the Chairman of Jardine Fleming Asset Management, Hong Kong. He now serves as an Independent Non-executive Director in five companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
