Hong Kong, May 19, 2006 - Hantec Investment Holdings Limited ("Hantec", HKEx: 111) today announces the opening of a new office in Vancouver, Canada. The branch opening marks the Group's first advance into North America, which is key component in its overall global expansion plan.

The office is located at 220-10451 Shellbridge Way, Richmond, BC, Canada V6X 2W8, and is strategically positioned to serve the Group's customers in North America.

In addition to expanding the breadth of its scope of financial services in Hong Kong, Hantec has also actively pursued overseas expansion, including the opening of representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Taiwan and Paris. The Group's expansion drive has also seen the relocation of its wholly-owned Taipei subsidiary to an expanded office in the city's new landmark - the 101 Building. It is now operating a network of associated companies and subsidiaries in Japan, New Zealand and Switzerland.
